Transforming Barns With Lighting
We just love barns!
There, we've said it! Whilst perhaps we shouldn't have a preferred style of venue, barns are one of our favourites. Where some might see a daunting expanse of bare timber and stone walls, we just see the immense potential of a barn to being completely transformed to a 'Pinterest' perfect picture.
Perhaps a cliché, but probably one because it's true, a barn really does provide a 'completely blank canvas' to style a venue to your exact vision.
Talking to our very own Maggie, who with Jeremy, has delivered over 1,500 events, she highlights that 'High vaulted ceilings with grand beams lend themselves beautifully to jaw-dropping lighting canopies, which can create either a soft, romantic feel with warm fairy or festoon lights or a radically different Winter Wonderland feel when cool, ice-white lights are used'.
And to put the cherry on the cake - all of our canopies are dimmable, so the transition from day to night couldn't be easier.
Then there's dramatic uplighting, which can be in any colour to match your scheme, which helps to define stonework and otherwise dark beams. We also use wireless LED uplighters as they don't need a power socket and produce very little heat, so they can also be used close to fabrics, drapes and foliage.
